Sura Fatihah

Chapter (1) sūrat l-fātiḥah (The Opening)

Transliteration	bismi allahi alrrahmani alrraheemi
1. Yusuf Ali	In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.
2. Saheeh International	In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful.
3. Shakir	In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful.
4. Daryabadi	In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful.
5.Wahiduddin Khan	In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
6. Pickthall	In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful.
7. Muhammad Sarwar	In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
8. Mohsin Khan	In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
9. Arberry	In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate

Transliteration	alhamdu lillahi rabbi alAAalameena
1. Yusuf Ali	Praise be to Allah, the Cherisher and Sustainer of the worlds;
2. Saheeh International	[All] praise is [due] to Allah, Lord of the worlds -
3. Shakir	All praise is due to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds.
4. Daryabadi	All praise unto Allah, the Lord of all the worlds.
5. Wahiduddin Khan	All praise is due to God, the Lord of the Universe;
6. Pickthall	Praise be to Allah, Lord of the Worlds,
7. Muhammad Sarwar	All praise belongs to God, Lord of the Universe,
8. Mohsin Khan	All the praises and thanks be to Allah, the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists).
9. Arberry	Praise belongs to God, the Lord of all Being,

2.Saheeh International	Sovereign of the Day of Recompense.
3.Shakir	Master of the Day of Judgment.
4.Daryabadi	Sovereign of the Day of Requital.
5.Wahiduddin Khan	Lord of the Day of Judgement.
6. Pickthall	Master of the Day of Judgment,
7. Muhammad Sarwar	and Master of the Day of Judgment
8. Mohsin Khan	The Only Owner (and the Only Ruling Judge) of the Day of Recompense (i.e. the Day of Resurrection)
9. Arberry	the Master of the Day of Doom.

Transliteration	iyyaka naAAbudu waiyyaka nastaAAeenu
1.Yusuf Ali	Thee do we worship, and Thine aid we seek.
2.Saheeh International	It is You we worship and You we ask for help.
3.Shakir	Thee do we serve and Thee do we beseech for help.
4.Daryabadi	Thee alone do we worship and of Thee alone do we seek help,
5.Wahiduddin Khan	You alone we worship, and to You alone we turn for help.
6. Pickthall	Thee (alone) we worship; Thee (alone) we ask for help.
7. Muhammad Sarwar	(Lord), You alone We do worship and from You alone we do seek assistance
8. Mohsin Khan	You (Alone) we worship, and You (Alone) we ask for help (for each and everything).
9. Arberry	only we serve; to Thee alone we pray for succour.

Transliteration	sirata allatheena anAAamta AAalayhim ghayri almaghdoobi AAalayhim wala alddalleena
1.Yusuf Ali	The way of those on whom Thou hast bestowed Thy Grace, those whose (portion) is not wrath, and who go not astray.
2.Saheeh International	The path of those upon whom You have bestowed favor, not of those who have evoked [Your] anger or of those who are astray.
3.Shakir	The path of those upon whom Thou hast bestowed favors. Not (the path) of those upon whom Thy wrath is brought down, nor of those who go astray.
4.Daryabadi	The path of those whom Thou hast favoured. Not of those on whom is indignation brought down, nor of the astray.
5.Wahiduddin Khan	the path of those You have blessed; not of those who have incurred Your wrath, nor of those who have gone astray.
6.Pickthall	The path of those whom Thou hast favoured; Not the (path) of those who earn Thine anger nor of those who go astray
7.Muhammad Sarwar	the path of those to whom You have granted blessings, those who are neither subject to Your anger nor have gone astray
8.Mohsin Khan	The Way of those on whom You have bestowed Your Grace , not (the way) of those who earned Your Anger (such as the Jews), nor of those who went astray (such as the Christians).
9.Arberry	the path of those whom Thou hast blessed, not of those against whom Thou art wrathful, nor of those who are astray.
